On July 7, a handover ceremony took place at the Lumbia Central School in the Philippines. The restored water supplies were officially transferred to the school. With funding from the Water for Life Foundation, 700 meters of new water pipes have been installed and a new water tank has been built, providing more than 2,500 children and 70 staff members with clean drinking water. Now that the water supply is ready, the rehabilitation and construction of toilets and sanitary facilities will start.
