BAWAD brings clean water to remote villages with a water tanker subsidized by VEI

In the Philippines, a large part of the Bayawan population lives in small settlements in the mountains of Negros Island. A number of villages in the Bayawan Water District (BAWAD) are connected to the water network with a Water for Life project. But there are still villages far away that do not have access to a safe and clean water supply.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, access to water is more important than ever. BAWAD has built a water tanker with the help of a subsidy from VEI and now brings clean drinking water to these villages every day. A great form of cooperation in our Water Operator Partnerships.
